Brando’s Auto Care – Paint Protection Film & Ceramic Coating Experts in Chino, CA

🛡️ Paint Protection Film (PPF)

1. What is paint protection film (PPF)?
PPF is a clear, self-healing urethane film applied to your car’s paint to protect it from rock chips, road debris, scratches, and UV damage. It’s like an invisible armor for your vehicle.

2. How long does PPF last?
High-quality PPF can last anywhere from 8 to 12 years when properly maintained. At Brando’s Auto Care, we use industry-leading films designed for long-term durability under California’s sun and road conditions that holds a 12 year warranty.

3. Is PPF worth it for daily drivers or just luxury cars?
PPF is absolutely worth it—even for daily drivers. It keeps your paint looking brand new and helps preserve your vehicle’s resale value. It's not just for exotic cars—it's for smart owners who want peace of mind.

4. What areas of my car should I protect with PPF?
Most clients start with high-impact areas like the front bumper, hood, mirrors, and headlights. Full-body protection is ideal for ultimate peace of mind and for darker colored cars prone to visible swirl marks.

5. Will paint protection film yellow over time?
Not with the films we use. We only install premium, non-yellowing films backed by manufacturer warranties for long-lasting clarity and gloss.

6. How do I take care of my PPF?
Avoid washing your car for 7 days after installation. After that, wash regularly using pH-neutral soap and avoid harsh chemicals. Ceramic coating on top of PPF is a great way to make maintenance even easier.

7. Can PPF be removed or replaced?
Yes, PPF can be safely removed or replaced without damaging your paint, as long as it was installed professionally. That’s why it matters who installs it.

8. How much does PPF cost in Chino, CA?
Pricing depends on coverage area and vehicle type. Our partial front-end protection starts around $800, while full-body wraps can range from $5,000–$8,000+. We offer honest, customized quotes.

Ceramic Coating

1. What is ceramic coating?
Ceramic coating is a liquid polymer that bonds to your paint or PPF to create a hydrophobic, ultra-glossy layer that repels water, dirt, UV rays, and more.

2. What are the benefits of ceramic coating?
You’ll get unmatched shine, easier washes, protection from bird droppings and sun damage, and reduced need for waxing. It also makes your car feel like new for years.

3. How long does ceramic coating last?
Depending on the product, coatings last from 3 to 7 years. We only offer premium-grade coatings and proper prep—because longevity starts with a flawless foundation.

4. Is ceramic coating better than waxing?
Absolutely. Wax lasts weeks; ceramic coatings last years. It’s a higher upfront investment that pays off in protection and resale value.

5. Can ceramic coating protect against sun damage and oxidation?
Yes, it blocks harmful UV rays that cause fading and oxidation—especially critical here in sunny Southern California.

6. Do I still need to wash my car after ceramic coating?
Yes, but it’ll be a lot easier. Most dirt and water slide right off, reducing the effort and time it takes to maintain a clean vehicle.

7. Can ceramic coating be applied to PPF or vinyl wraps?
Yes! We often apply ceramic coating on top of PPF for the ultimate protection and shine. It also helps extend the life of your film.

8. How much does ceramic coating cost in Chino Hills?
Pricing varies based on vehicle size and condition. Entry-level packages start around $950, while multi-layer coatings or full correction jobs can range $1,500–$2,500+. Call for a tailored quote.
